Voices of Trust: What Our Clients Say
"Excellent Book!!!"
“This book should be in every police training course in America. It’s that powerful.”
"Highly recommend this"
“I just finished it with tears and compassion for all who can relate. I personally happened upon a crime scene last summer, and the aftermath has felt like PTSD to me. So, I can not only marvel at your insights, but I am personally benefiting.”
"I Really Need This!!"
“I got your book the other day. I opened it today in the lobby of the Honda dealership waiting for my car to be serviced. My stomach knotted and an emotional lump immediately formed in my throat. It's like my anxiety of facing this, fighting back. By this sentence I was, and still am, in full blown tears. I will continue to read it; however, I must start again in private. I feel I need to read this. Thank you, Scott.”
"This Opened Up Some Repressed Memories"
“By the time I reached the halfway point, I had already faced four powerful triggers. I realized I need to start over and give myself a moment to process everything I’m feeling. This book is incredibly well written.”
Must Read!!
Where to start?! This book is an easy read that packs a big punch. Scott Artal has created an amazing entry point for anyone with PTSD, has someone with PTSD as a significant other, or is just learning what living with PTSD is like.
The stories feel genuine. The empathy is real. The healing potential is huge!! Knowing that the writer has actually had this experience created an emotional bond I didn’t expect. More than once, it left me in tears. For once, I felt seen and heard and that I was hearing from someone who really GETS IT.
Can’t recommend it enough and will be watching for more from this author.
